About The Author
My life story
Robyn Clemen hails from the ancient landscapes of Western Australia. Her early life was shaped by the rugged charm of the outback, the rich heritage of the Wheatbelt, and the discipline of boarding school in Katanning.
An alumna of the University of Western Australia, Robyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History and English, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Library Science. Her life and love of storytelling extended to Southern Africa, where she married exploration geologist Alex Clemen in Stellenbosch. They raised two daughters, Hannah and Martha, in the wilderness of the northwest Cape Province.
Robyn now lives in Western Australia. After the sudden death of her husband, she sold her horse property but continues to keep her connection to horses alive through her writing. Robyn now lives with her husband Ron Macfarlane in the south west of Western Australia.
Her debut novel, *Red Rebel*, explores the strength of women, the bonds of loyalty, and the battle for justice — themes she understands intimately.
